Agrocorp, a worldwide firm specialising in the trade of essential food items such as rice, wheat, and pulses, serves major food manufacturers in the Middle East and Asia Pacific regions. This Singapore-based company, which began trading agricultural commodities in 1990, has since grown significantly, achieving over $3 billion in sales and dealing with over 30 agricultural products across 50 nations. Agrocorp is also a leading global trader of pulses and operates processing facilities in Australia, Canada, and the United States, where pulses are converted into valuable products such as proteins and starches. The company recently expanded into the plant-based ingredients sector and launched HerbYvore, its own plant-based food brand. In addition, Agrocorp has entered into a joint venture with one of Japan's largest dairy companies to establish a production plant in Malaysia by 2025 for the manufacturing of soy-free plant protein. This initiative is part of Agrocorp's mission to responsibly and sustainably source and produce food to nourish a rapidly changing world. The company was honoured with the 2023 EY Family Business Excellence Award.
