Cermaq is a global leader in the cultivation of salmon and trout, operating in countries such as Norway, Chile, and Canada, and employing around 4000 individuals. In 2016, the company supplied the international market with 137,000 tonnes of healthily and sustainably reared salmon and trout. Cermaq operates as a wholly owned subsidiary under the umbrella of Mitsubishi Corporation.
