Marfrig Global Foods stands as one of the world’s foremost beef producers, with a production base centered in the Americas. Renowned for its product quality and commitment to sustainability, Marfrig pioneers initiatives to safeguard the environment and natural resources. The company employs over 30,000 individuals across 35 production units in South and North America. In South America, Marfrig oversees the primary processing and deboning of beef cattle from Brazil, Uruguay, and Argentina. Additionally, it produces further processed products such as canned meat, beef jerky, sauces, and sachets. These products are distributed through retail, wholesale, and food service channels, both domestically and internationally. In Chile, Marfrig holds a prominent position as the country’s leading beef importer. With a local lamb primary processing capacity of 605,000 head per year, Marfrig also operates two lamb primary processing lines in Uruguay. Marfrig’s North America Operation exports to approximately 40 countries and boasts a daily primary processing capacity of 12,000 head of cattle. The operation manages two primary processing units, one beef patty plant, four further processing units in the United States, and one tannery.
