Being part of the coffee industry is more than a profession, it is a passion that I have nurtured since childhood when I was involved in harvesting and drying coffee on my uncle's farm with my cousins. I often say that we don't just sell coffee, but rather tradition, love, and hard work in every cup. My duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to: *Adept in all aspects of the trading desk *Possesses knowledge of processes, terms and laws of certain countries and their specificities such as apostilles, legalizations, chemical tests and analysis, letters of credit etc. *Established and maintain sales processes and procedures for our industrial customers while also solidifying the commercial rapport during annual visits to understand standards, new trends and coffee quality calibration *Instrumental in the creation of coffee standards, logo, and marketing strategy *Provides follow-up of processes for the entire life cycle of an order--from sales, fulfillment, logistics, to payment of invoices *Provides support in audits *Visits warehouses and support in the documentation requirements of sustainability and FSMA *Visits with customers on farms *Engages in cupping and calibrations of coffees with customers as well as reception of new employees of companies who want to learn how to cup and classify coffees *Supports warehouses while adapting to FDA regulation
