I am a physical trader in the grains and oilseeds industry with 9 years of experience. I have ample knowledge in both destination and origination businesses and that have given me a wide network and balanced view of the market. My career started in the destination working 3 years in Shanghai, China, overseeing the sales and marketing of soybeans to clients like major crushers and end users. Thereafter I was based in Sao Paulo, Brazil, responsible for trading the export soymeal positions (Paranagua paper and port logistics), as well as managing futures and options positions on the Chicago Board of Trade. I am familiar with the operational and the logistical aspects of cash trading, and also spearheaded the container export program. Since March 2018, I am based in Singapore on the grains desk responsible for the APAC corn book (product line). I cover major destinations like Korea, Vietnam, Indonesia and Malaysia, with frequent business visits and I oversee trade volumes of up to 5mmt annually in APAC.
